Horatio, the character we assume the role of for the duration of the game, even has an inventory item called "The Book of Man" which is symbolic of the bible. Since man no longer exists in Primordia's world, it is a constant source of debate among the robots. Travel across space to nine unique worlds teeming with colorful challenges, creatures and surprises to discover, brought to life with beautiful artwork, sound and music. Some of the robots believe they were created by Man (God) and others don't believe it, or refuse to accept it. Samorost 3 is an exploration adventure and puzzle game from the award-winning creators of Machinarium and Botanicula. Primordia is especially known for its symbolism, especially as to how it relates to religion in our world. The player is presented with many different morality choices during gameplay that will determine the ending, and ultimately the fate of their world as a whole. As the game unravels, the robots go as far as to ponder their creator, the meaning of consciousness, and the difference between right and wrong. However, the story takes a sharp turn into many ethical, religious, and moral issues which ultimately result in an extremely well-written and thought-provoking story. again, it has “some” speech but it’s not part of the gameplay except for a few speech commands (like hello, follow me) that you can give to other fellows.Thought-provoking story Within the first few minutes of gameplay, it may appear to solely consist of self-aware robots surviving in a harsh world long after man has disappeared. Machinarium is an award-winning, puzzle-adventure game where youll need to help Josef the robot rescue his equally robotic girlfriend Berta from the Black. It’s not an adventure, but a hybrid between an arcade and a puzzle game, but it somehow got that atmosphere i’m talking about. while talking about this Oddworld: Abe’s Odyssey popped in mind. Unfortunately I can’t think of any other game like that. The thing I love about those games is that their atmosphere is so alien and unnatural that any kind of speech (except alien or unnatural ) would ruin the magic. I know that there is a little speech in the neverhood but i can hardly count it. I mean a game which feels more like an ordinary adventure (and not a puzzle game) but lacks the speech because of the obscure setting and outlook. In this game, the player has to play the role. A little robot who’s been thrown out to the scrap yard behind the city must return and confront the Black Cap Brotherhood and save his robot-girl friend.
GAMES LIKE MACHINARIUM FREE
I’m more interest if there is something more like The Neverhood (or Machinarium if we can put it in the same bag). The Birdcage 2 is a free puzzle, action-adventure, single-player, and strategy video game developed by Mobigrow. Summary: Machinarium is independent puzzle / adventure game developed by the makers of popular web-games Samorost and Samorost2. I’ve also played quite a bunch of flash online adventure games with no speech and puzzle gameplay, but I don’t think they worth mentioning.
I think there are at least several samorost-like games out there but now I can’t remember any names.
